modal within modal

I have two modals. One modal opens on top of the other. If I click anywhere on the screen after the second modal opens, the first modal closes. This is very undesirable. Does anyone know a workaround?

though, no apparent solution. perhaps just toggling DIVs within a single modal is the way to go.

Hello Michael,

There was an issue with nested ModalView, however it was fixed a few months ago. Which version of Kendo UI do you use? Could you please extract a runnable sample that shows the problem?

We're using a version that dates back to October, I think. It is a pretty big app and the number of issues caused by upgrading the kendo files has been too extensive for us to make the switch. We may attempt an upgrade before releasing the app, though.
