http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/mobile/adaptive/grid.html

Click on 'edit this example', the '1' at the bottom is now orange and not blue as it is on the previous page

Also this doesn't have a Asp.Net MVC section, is this for any real reason?

I noticed this as I have the same problem. I have a website which will work on desktop/mobile. I am using a grid for both, the grid looks fine on the desktop but on mobile there are gaps between the cells and the bottom page color is orange

Ok, I can see it's this line that makes the difference

mobile: "phone",

If you remove it you get the same effect I was seeing. Can use this if you have an Asp.Net MVC form of the grid or does it have to be the html version

Sorry for the many posts, I can't see how you edit previous posts on this forums.

Same problem on the Editor, I get the impression that this works on mobile but it doesn't have a 'mobile: "phone"' type attribute and displays the same kind of effect that the grid displayed without that attribute,

Hi Anthony,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

The difference in colors that you noticed is caused by the different theme used in the on-line example and trykendoui. By default on-line demos use the silver theme which is why the footer pages have blue color. The default theme however that is loaded in trykendoui sample fork uses orange instead of blue.

Trykendoui tool can be used only for HTML/JavaScript/CSS code which is why you do not see the MVC version of the code. The tool is intended to provide a way for quick editing and testing of the samples, it runs the code directly in the browser where there is no .NET framework to render MVC views.
