Hello Kendo,

I was really excited about trying the Kendo mobile UI demos, but why do the demos display the virutal mobile device, even on my iPhone?  Can I see how the mobile UI renders the controls natively on my iPhone without the virtual mobile device?

Thank you.

Hello,

I am not sure how to reproduce that. The demos are supposed to be displayed without a frame on a mobile device.

I tried the following on the iPhone (iPhone 4, iOS 4.3.2):

- Open Safari;
- Navigate to http://demos.kendoui.com;
- Press the "Mobile Demos" link below the orange header;
- The website detects my mobile device, and redirects me to http://demos.kendoui.com/mobile/m/index.html

Maybe I am missing something?

All the best,

I had the same problem until I re-read your instructions. If you just navigate to mobile and choose to launch demos, you see what D is reporting. The "mobile demos" link isn't quite as obvious so I missed it as well, but it does correctly redirect to the mobile version. Looks awesome.

Thanks

Demos are brilliant. Love the way they are rendered and look good on the HTC Wildfire.
Now I need all the control for mobile. I am particulary interested in the date/time picker.
As a developer my graphics work leaves a lot to be desired (that's why I chose Telerik asp.net controls...because the graphics and decorations are brilliant) so the more graphics you can add top the controls the better I like them & I like them pretty good at the moment.

Keep up the good work.

I ran into a problem when i tabbed back and fore between Menu and Home quickly couple time. The site reloaded and appended "#!" to the end of the url and appear to be broken. I wonder if anyone ran into that problem? You can reproduce the problem by adding "#!" to the sushi demo site or your own mobile site that run on KendoUI Mobile. How do i fix this? This will be a problem because there is no way to control how quick users would switch between tabs.

try this:
demos.kendoui.com/sushi/#!

Hi Jordan,

The "#!"  problem is already resolved, and won't occur in the final release.

Kind regards,

I guess the beta hasn't been updated for BlackBerry yet.  That link goes to the web-based demo page.  When I directly type in http://demos.kendoui.com/mobile/m/index.html it gives me, "Sorry, an error occurred while processing your request."

No biggie, just FYI.

Hello King,

Your assumption is correct. We did not add support for the BlackBerry in the beta of the Kendo UI mobile, but the final release will support it.
