Hello,

I am using Visual Studio 2010 Professional RTM, I installed the reporting demo successfully and the installer created the colntrols correctly. Anyway I did not manage to install (not me nor the installation package) the report templates.
I tried with devenv /installvstemplates but again no success (template files are placed correcly in the VS folder)
What else shall I do?

Thanks, Giuseppe

Hello Giuseppe,

Check the following KB article for more information: Telerik Reporting Item Template is missing.

Best wishes,

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Common7\IDE\ItemTemplates
does not appear for me

I have run
devenv.exe /InstallVSTemplates
and still do not have the folder.
More importantly, I cannot create a Reporting Project.
What else can be done?  I really need to create a report to finish a project.

Kelly, there is no reporting project template, only item template as the name of the KB article suggests. The path to the VS installation folder depends on the VS version and whether your Windows is 64 bit/32 bit. If you have VS2008 the path would be C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\ and in the second C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\
i.e. do not follow the KB blindly, but locate your Visual Studio installation folder on your own.

Cheers!
