Hello!
I want to ask where can I find some informations or tutorial to migration from old version Telerik to new Telerik UI with Kendo for ASP.NET MVC?
"Old version" - I mean TelerikMvcExtensions from 2013.
I tried here https://www.telerik.com/aspnet-mvc/documentation/migration/migrating-from-telerik-extensions-for-aspnet-mvc but this site doesn't exist anymore.

Hi Piotr,
TelerikMvcExtensions reached End of Life in June 2013 and was replaced by Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC. Because the products differ in assemblies, APIs, and client logic, there is no upgrade wizard or automated migration route. Reuse of UI code isn’t feasible; you must rebuild with the newer wrappers.
What I woud suggest is start a fresh MVC 5 project, install Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC, and re-create each legacy component using the current helpers—updating server-side declarations, JavaScript, and event handlers while testing incrementally.

Do you know if we can upgrade from TelerikMvcExtensions to Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC using our existing license? Or do we need to purchase a new one?

Hi Piotr,
The license for TelerikMvcExtensions does not cover Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC, as these are separate products. You will need to purchase a new license for Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC to use the newer components and features.
