Hello Vivek,
Setting the gradient for the area series is not supported, only the solid colors are available to set as a background.
To achieve the gradient effect, you can set the Graph.PlotAreaStyle.BackroundImage property to an image imitating the gradient. However, the value for the area will have to be static.
