When I use the web viewer to view a report, the report looks fine.  The displayed data, which contains line breaks, appears as expected.  However, when I print the report or convert it to another format, the line break characters appear as
.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

I have attached a screenshot of the report in the viewer as well as screenshots of the same report in PDF and RTF.

Hi Jed,

The web viewer and the rendering extensions(Pdf and Rtf) render the report in a different way. The special characters are processed in the web viewer by the browser itself, but they cannot be processed by the PDF and RTF rendering extensions in the standard TextBox item.

If you want to use a special characters as '&#x0D' we recommend using the HtmlTextBox to display the text. You can find more information about the HtmlTextBox in the following help article: HtmlTextBox.
