Usually in tabs KeyTips are used as shortcut (by pressin Alt and then keytips in succession going from menu to submenu).
In StartMenuItems and StartMenuBottomStrip the keytip is not visible. So usual way of using shortcut is not working.
Any workarounds or I am missing something.

Hi Kumar,

Thanks for writing.

Unfortunately we do not support KeyTips in pop up forms. Unfortunately, you cannot use them in the situation you describe. I have put this in our consideration list.

Do not hesitate to write back in case of further questions.

The keyTip is not there, but shortcut keys work for options like SignIn, Opne,Save (in StartMenuOptions, the left side column). But for StartMenuBottomStrip buttons even shortcuts are not working. Also arrows keys just move in the options in StartMenuOptions, and focus never comes to StartMenuBottomStrip buttons.

Is there any workaround for this.

Should you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hi,
Can you confirm if this has been implemented in the 2009Q1SP1 release?

Thanks

Hello Ankur Khator,

I can't confirm this. In our last release we focused primary on our dock control and on improving the performance of our controls in general. You can check the difference. Nevertheless, this feature request is recorded and we will consider it when developing our future versions. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Best wishes,
Jack
