I see the example of providing custom visuals for chart labels using drawing functions (https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/charts/elements/labels/#toc-rendering-custom-visuals), but how would one go about replacing the axis labels with, say, a kendo avatar or some other kendo component? I can't find an example of that.

Hi Art,

Indeed, using a custom visual is the way to go when it is required to use an icon (avatar) or any custom drawing for the labels. Creating a custom visual is possible with the Drawing API. Please see the following article that demonstrates how to create a custom scene including shapes and a picture:

https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/drawing/basic-shapes/

Using a Kendo component for the labels content isn't a supported feature.

Please let me know if any further information is required for this case.

Regards,
Svetlin
