Hello,

we'd like to select a unselected item in a TreeView by using the KendoUI Touch "Hold" event. It seems that the item get's an "expanded" state, but it is not selected.

How can we achieve this, or otherwise, how can we get the TreeView item on which the "hold" event was raised?

Kind Regards,
Michael

Hi,

I am using culture specific kendo Numeric text box. The change event does not hold the old value before changing. The change event  _value variable just holds the last updated value. Is there anyway in which i can get the old value in change event. If kendo does not support , can u suggest workarounds.

I have a column chart that in certain scenarios, has lots of data. in which case the category labels override each other.
I know that i could rotate the labels slightly to make them fit but I was wondering if there's an option to alternate the row location of every second label to resolve this?

Hello,

Since a last KendoUI package (the version 2014.1.528 did not this problem), when I put a Grid in a Window and when I resize a Grid Column, this Window is also resized.

You can find your Grid example code in attachment (or http://jsbin.com/merekege/2/) and try also "this special feature" (or open the video) ;-)

Can you tell me how solve that ?

Thanks,

After updating our version of KendoUI from 2014.1.416 to 2014.2.716 we have a problem with MVVM and touch events. I created a small demo to show you the problem.

=> http://jsbin.com/runoha/39

If you run the example it shows "WORKING" as bound title. After changing the KendoUI version to 2014.2.716 the binding is broken. If you uncomment the line within the initView function it´s working again.

I have extended the default grid and am overriding the removeRow event. The handler get a reference to the "row" which is the rendered tr (HTML)

I can get the model that is bound to that row via

var model = this._modelForContainer(row)

However, how do I get access to the model instance that is bound to the grid? I have a specific method on the model that needs to be invoked from the removeRow event handler.

I am having an issue with image orientation that I have a fix for but I relies on the metadata being in the image. When I view the image prior to upload it has an orientation of 6 but after uploading it, when its in the c# code on the server, it doesnt have this metadata available.

Is there something that could be going on when the kendo upload widget does its thing that could remove it?

in my MVC controller I am just creating an Image from the HttpPostedFileBase InputStream and pass that to my FixRotation method. No real code doing anything.

I am trying to create a simple donut chart using Kendo UI data wiz widgets. How can I use an angular scope variable within such a widget ?

 <div kendo-chart

                     k-series-defaults="{ type: 'donut', startAngle: 270, holeSize: 80 }"

Hi

I was wondering if there was a way to enable some sort of horizontal scrolling for DataVis charts. I have a column chart with a number of coumns, but occasionally there are too many columns to fit adequately (at a reasonable size) on a screen. Furthermore, our software will be used on some screens where screen space is limited, so a scrolling mechanism of some sort would be necessary.

I wasn't able to find anything in the documentation, but thought perhaps I could set a minimum width of sorts for the columns and put the graph in an "overflow: scroll" style div. Is this possible?

Hello,

I'm using the kendo less files in my web application (MVC5 web-api SPA) and i would like to use the variables
from a Theme file (for example kendo.bootstrap.less), but i run into a problem with my own less files.

When i use an import directive @import "kendo.bootstrap.less" in my own Site.less file, Visual Studio 2013 Web Essentials
parses the entire kendo.bootstrap.less and adds everything to the resulting Site.css file.

Because it is impossible to only import variables from another less file, wouldn't it be an idea to keep those variables in a separate less file like kendo.bootstrap.vars.less ?

Thanks in advance.
