Hi All,
I'm testing the Kendo UI Vue-wrappers and notice an issue with the masked text box. When just loading the page, the input looks fine. But after entering data and exiting the field, the borders go away. First I thought I was doing something wrong, but then I noticed that example page does the same thing:
https://www.telerik.com/kendo-vue-ui/components/inputs/maskedtextbox/
This behavior, does not exists, for example, in the Angular version:
https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/inputs/maskedtextbox/
is this a bug and if so, where can I report it?
Thanks!
Hi All,
i need to disable the input of an Editor control in my vuejs project but seems that Kendo-Editor do not have a property like contenteditable/disabled/readonly i prefer not to deal with a layer of some z-index div to workaround this needs.
Is there any way (like the one with jquery to set the contenteditable to false) to achive this?
Thanks a lot
Hi,
I am using Kendo UI Material theme. I would like to switch between light and dark themes without reloading the whole site. May I know what are variables available that I can set in the code?
Hello,
I'm building a form where a field may become optional depending on a check box. I've set some validator on the field, but if I check the checkbox, the validators remain active on the field. Is there a way to dynamically attribute validators to a field ?
I try to disable the field, but even with the field beeing disabled, the validators are still working.
Hi !
I'm using the kendo editor in the Vue environment.
I want to create a Kendo editor Custom tool using the following template.
I would like to create a Kendo editor custom tool for file upload using the template below. The internal logic is in place and we just want to see an example of creating a custom tool with a template.
--
<input class="hide_file" type="file" @change="doUploadInput($event.target)"
@drop="doUploadInput($event.target)" multiple>
</input>
--
This is well enough in the official documentation but I would like to see a more detailed example.
thank you. have a good day

Hello, is there any chances to disable or do not display the validation dialog upon using the Input component. Based on this example, I want to use the Error component for displaying the validation as Text and I will no longer use the validation dialog.
Btw, I'm using Kendo UI for Vue
I'm trying to have the Kendo DropDownList wrapper component expand to the viewport height so that there's a maximum amount of items on screen without having a scrollbar on <body>
I'm currently trying it with this approach but I'm wondering if there's a better way:
The main downside of this approach is that it relies on setting the 'height' prop to a number that is larger than the data source would take up when fully rendered. In this case a height of 999px won't work, while a height of 9999px will work. So when I set the height to 9999px I get the desired result but it feels hacky and I'm wondering if there's a better way.
We have a Kendo vue UI Grid column with Vue bootstrap Datepicker as a custom column.
When we click the calender icon it is partially showing inside the cell. I want it to be show as an popup outside the cell.
Below is the code snippet from the custom cell component
<template>
<td class="cell-editable">
<b-input-group>
<b-form-input
:value="aufValue | date"
type="text"
placeholder="tt.mm.jjjj"
:disabled="!canEdit"
></b-form-input>
<b-input-group-append>
<b-form-datepicker
size="sm"
button-only
:value-as-date="true"
v-model="aufValue"
locale="de-AT"
:disabled="!canEdit"
></b-form-datepicker>
</b-input-group-append>
</b-input-group>
</td>
<template>
right now it show like the attached screenshot:
Please suggest a solution for achieving the same.
Thank You
I have started using the new Vue Native DropDownList and found a few issues when it is used inside a popup (bootstrap-vue modal).
The dropdown list will not display. I can make it display by adding:
.k-animation-container {
z-index: 100000;
}
Now it displays but clicking out side the dropped down list will not close it.

I need to customize it as shown in the second image.I need to show the date and then a button to change the date and finally a button to go to current date.
