I'm following the launch of Kendo UI closely.
IMHO what Kendo has to do right now is post a demo of a medium sized web app (>20 screens) showing us how to integrate al the pages eg via the menu widget.
The To-Do-List sample app is learning us nothing.
2 years ago, I've bought, studied, tested, flamed, ... ExtJs and never got to the point of building a decent web app.
This was THE MAJOR complaint of the ExtJs newsgroups. They have a lot of small widget demos but how do we integrate them into a medium sized app eg a webshop.
So, Kendo UI, please don't make the same mistake.
Show us a medium sized web app with all the widgets and - most important - how they interact with each other.

I agree with you. And I think/hope since this is a Telerik property they will do just as you suggest. The Telerik components for ASP.NET have quite a few example sites including SiteFinity.

Agreed.. this would be excellent to have.
And - what would make this really kick-ass is if this demo application worked on an iphone/ipad/android phone/tablet and desktop browser, with the same code.
It could do this by 'panes' - the phone could show just a left hand menu, the tablet would show the menu and center grid/list at the same time, and a desktop browser could show the menu, center grid/list, and detail view on the right. In other words, the phones would jump among the panes, filling the small screen with one pane, while the bigger devices would show 2 or 3 panes at once.

Thanks for sharing your feedback and suggestions for sample apps featuring the Kendo UI Web widgets and framework components. They will certainly be helpful for Kendo UI prospects and clients who would like to see medium-sized solutions of real life development challenges tackled with our product offering. We are have them in mind and hopefully the first showcase will be ready for prime time early next year.
