Kendo UI scheduler: make appointments that occur in the past 'read-only'

Hello,

I would like appointments that occurred in the past to not be movable, resizable or destroyable. But i am not able to find "DragStart" event in this control.

Can you please add this event in this control?

Hello Jayesh,

 Currently the scheduler doesn't support this due the lack of such events. The good news is that we plan to support such scenarios in the upcoming service pack (due in Mid September).

Has this particular issue been resolved? 
I want to do exactly the same thing I.e have the option to make appointments read only.
We have been building our Web app thinking this would be easily possible but after getting stuck at this point and after reading the post above we are having doubts...

Hello,

There are new events which can be prevented:

edit
moveStart
resizeStart

You can handle those events and invoke e.preventDefault() when the required conditions are met.
