Hello Jacques,

Thank you for sharing this scenario with us. As for now, it is not a present feature of the Kendo UI Drawer but it might be considered as a new one in one of the upcoming releases.

A possible alternative I could offer is the Kendo UI Menu widget:

If you have the time you could submit a Drower feature enhancement in our UserVoice portal. Once it receives a reasonable number of votes and we are sure that this is the right direction to go it will be implemented.

Thank you for submitting this feature request.

I can definitely see the value in it. The UserVoice platform is used by Product Management for future planning and implementation. The items which gain a lot of popularity are acted upon and included in the RoadMap. The status of it could be tracked at the following link:
