I wish I'd bookmarked what I saw, but I'd swear I saw a page demonstrating a commonly used technique to help users understand a page: a small popup and arrow points to one area of the page and explains what it does, and when the user closes that popup another on a different part of the page points to another control and explains it, and this happens for several steps. I can't seem to find that control or demo on the kendo ui demo page- does anybody recall what I'm remembering?

Thanks.

Hi Andy,

I think you recall the startup guide image, which appears over our SASS ThemeBuilder, when someone opens it for the first time, then clicks Star Theming and clicks on Create button to create a theme. Just clear your browser cookies or open it in a browser for the first time and the startup guide will pop.

If this is the thing you refer to, note that it is not a control, but an image. I hope this is helpful.

Thanks for the guess, but I wasn't looking for that. I'm sure you've seen what I'm after, but it's not common enough to where I can just find an example. I'm describing a scenario where a page might have a user profile in the upper right hand corner, a menu on the left side, and a contact form at the bottom, for example. A small callout would point at the user profile, and when closed a second one would be near and point to the menu on the left. If this isn't clear, I realize I'm not being very specific and I won't be hurt if nobody guesses what I'm after.

Hi Andy,

I cannot recall such demo. I asked my colleagues, but they also cannot think which it might be. Hopefully someone from the community will have an answer. Perhaps it is from another Kendo UI flavor - e.g. Angular or React suites.
