I am not getting this error from the datasource ("No Transport") for the URL: http:/localhost:4326/mTypes (a local WCF service) on the same machine as the browser.

The data is in JSON format.

Chrome 19, FireFox 13 Do not throw this error.

IE is NOT in compatibility mode.
It is a 64 bit browser.

The e.ErrorThrown is "No transport"

BUG - Duplicate Axis Points - Column Chart

There are 2 axis values for the number "2" on the Y-Axis. Is there something in the code causing this or this a bug in Kendo UI?

Dropdown Validator

I am trying to get a required field validator working with a grid dropdown. I cannot get the error message to show. Has anyone done something like this? Here is an code example of how I defined the field in my datasource model.

There is some interesting behavior I have noticed. You can see this in the demo.

If I edit the first row, changing the Unit price to 20 and then click add record. It appears that my changes were saved. They are not, the save event is never fired. Is there a way to actually save these changes if the row is valid?

If I edit the first row, changing the unit price to 20 then click the edit button for the second row, the first row unit price reverts to 18. It seems odd that these behaviors are inconsistent. Again, if the first row is valid, can these changes be saved when I click "edit" on the second row? How would I accomplish this?

Passing parameters to webmethod

I am new to using the Kendo UI suite of products, and am going crazy trying to pass a parameter to my c# webmethod. I have everything up and running when I don't use the paramter, and data pulls, saves, etc. just fine. But, when I try to pass the parameter, I get the error:

Invalid web service call, missing value for parameter: \u0027ageGroupID\u0027.

The relevant code is below. Note that this is just the most recent iteration of the code, as I have tried a lot of different ways to get this working, based on the information found in this forum, and elsewhere.

I have set the variable many different ways. The most recent was to pretty much set the json, but I have tried just setting the value I am passing, then setting the full json in the data: statement.

Here is my read statement:

url: "AssociationStats.aspx/getPlayerInfo", //specify the URL which data should return the records. This is the Read method of the Products.asmx service.

Grid inline DropDown with own datasource, but dependent fields?

Hi,

I have a Grid with Customer - Order datas. In my datasource model there are customer name and customer id. In the grid there is only the customer name visible.
When I'm editing the row, the Customer name is a DropDownList, with custom Customer datasource (name, id).

So how can I make that, when I change the Customer name in the grid, it sholud change the customer id too in the customerorder datasource? Now my program is working, but when I change Customer with dropdown, in the model its change only the customer name.

I hope I was clear?

I think I should use the DropDownList's change event. How can I get the current datasource item's id field, and update this id to the parent datasource customer id?

Window config content options ignored in releases >2012.1.322

Consider the fiddle at:

If you console the network activity which this code runs you can see two things:
1) type is ignored. it always makes a GET requests
2) data is ignored. It doesn't get sent (regardless of type)

I've tried this and variations on all weekly builds since 322 and the behaviour is the same. For clarification in v 322 everything works ok however I really need the various other enhancements and fixes that are in later releases.

Is this a bug or has the configuration requirement changed?

Hi All,

I have a requirement, that by using combo box i need to create drill down sub menus(menu under another menu). is kendo ui "combo box" supports this feature.
If possible how can i achive it (any reference doc/url)..

Display navbar with title on BlackBerry

I'm testing KendoUI for a BlackBerry app and ran into some trouble with the navbar, the title never shows up in the navbar (and if there isn't a button in the navbar that won't show up), how can I make the navbar and title always show on BB?
