Hi
I want to programmatically hide the right panel.
But if you change the panel size, then when hidden, the left panel does not take up free space.

Yes, this is considered a bug in our latest version that is logged in the following GitHub thread:
https://github.com/telerik/kendo-angular/issues/4369
Until the issue is resolved, I would suggest using version 16.3.0.
