Hi,

I'm having a kendo grid with grouping rows with expand collapse buttons.

When scanned for WCAG, the header column gives an error since it has an empty header without any labels.

Any workaround to fix this?

Thanks & Regards,
Milinda

Hi Milinda,

The said cell has role "presentation" set. We are using the AXE accessibility testing tools, and this software does not report an error. However, based on the provided screenshots, I see that the WAVE browser extension reports the described problem.

We are currently working on improving the Grid overall accessibility and WCAG compliance, and we will discuss this case further, and take the necessary actions if we decide that this is not a false warning.

Meanwhile, the only available workaround is to manipulate the rendered DOM elements programmatically, and add any necessary attributes.
