Hi,

I'm trying to export a grid  with a big data to PDF file but I'm constantly having problems with it In Chrome,

it's fail to download a file (Failed - Network error). When i try to download it with Opera or Firefox it downloads without a problem.

What is causing this behavior?

Hello Esty,

There is a known issue with Chrome when exporting large files. See the following section in the documentation, which recommends loading the Pako library, in order to enable compression.

Hello Ivan,

Has this issue been resolved? I am trying to download as excel from the kendo grid and it is failing for the same reason.

Best Regards,

Heidi

Hello Heidi,

See the following post in a forum thread, which discusses failures to export the Grid to Excel in Chrome and suggests a possible approach. As for the previously discussed issues when exporting large PDF files in Chrome, this is an issue/limitation of the browser that we do not have control over.
