k-rtl grid ,horizon scroll show white space

Hi

 

I have a kendo grid with k-rtl class.

the grid has a horizon scroll, when i scroll to right or left it's work good but when the mouse is leave the grid zone

all the columns move to the left and there is a big white space in the grid or the scroll jump to other side.

Hi Ro,

I tried to reproduce the described issue in the provided dojo but to no avail. Could you please take a look at this short screencast capture and let me know what I am missing?

On a side note, to hide the vertical scrollbar you could use the CSS rules suggested in this help article.

Hello Ro,

Thanks for the video. There are two separate things to discuss in this scenario:

- the header/data misalignment is caused by the custom CSS code, which removes the Grid's vertical scrollbar. The correct way to do that is shown in the documentation.

- the jumping, which is observed when the mouse leaves the page, represents a standard browser behavior that can be observed with any scrollable <div>. We are not aware of a good way (or justified urgency) to circumvent this behavior at this point.
