This has only started recently, all other reports open in design view with no issues. No dll changes. The error i am getting is:

Object of type 'System.Collections.Generic.List`1[Telerik.Reporting.SqlDataSourceParameter]' cannot be converted to type 'System.Collections.Generic.IList`1[Telerik.Reporting.SqlDataSourceParameter]'.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Michael,

Please close all reports, run manually the Upgrade Wizard which would take care of upgrading all Telerik Reporting references to the latest version, rebuild your solution and open your report again. If the problem persists, open the .resx file of the problematic report as XML file and look for base64 encoding in it. If there is such section in it, please delete it and rebuild your project.

Kind regards,
Steve

Many thanks Steve, the issue lay in the Resx file of the report.
