Hi,

When IsSnapToItemsEnabled and IsSnapToGridEnabled are both true (the default setting), it's not possible to snap to the grid line right after an item line.

Don't know if this is intentional, but it makes it difficult to move everything by 1 grid line when all the nodes are spaced with 2 grid lines in between.. See screenshot to see what I mean.

Regards,

Bayram

Hello Bayram,

You are right - when the IsSnapToItemsEnabled  is set to true the items are snapped while dragging operation is executed. If you don't need this functionality you can set the property to false.

In addition, the SnappingEngine exposes two virtual methods which you can override in your application to customize the default snap to items behavior. You can see more info in the section SnappingEngine in Align and Snap help article.

I hope this information helps.

Milena
