If I have to present a report from a DataSource with several DataTables and I want to create one report with 2 grids then how can I do it?

Hi Servando,

I've moved your inquiry to our reporting forums as the code library section serves a different purpose described in the Code Library FAQ and is not for posting inquiries on our product.
As to your question, a report can be bound only to a single data table. If you need to present data from more than one, then you can use the Table or Subreport report items.

Hi Servando,

There is no usercontrol concept in reporting products. We would appreciate if you elaborate on your inquiry if you believe that our previous reply is missing your point. Telerik Reporting's Table item is built on a concept different than the regular grid components. While the grids are usually based on the rows and columns abstraction and display dynamic data by rows, the Telerik Reporting's Table item can display dynamic data by rows and/or columns that extends greatly the flexibility of the report.
You can look upon the table item as a data region which needs to be bound separately than the report. So in this line of thoughts, you can have two table items bound to different tables of the same datasource.
The other option is to create two reports bound to the different tables and use the subreport item to show this report in a main report.

Kind regards,
