I was curious if it was possible to make a Non-Active tab flash?

For instance, something is added to the grid on a non selected tab. I would like the tab to flash blue and white until the user clicked on it. But i don't want the application to automatically swap tabs.

Thanks!

Hello Phillip Foster,

Thank you for your question.

It is possible to achieve the desired behavior thanks to the AnimatedPropertySetting class provided by the Telerik Presentation Framework. Please refer to the attached sample project which demonstrates how your scenario can be implemented. For additional information about the AnimatedPropertySetting possibilities, take a look at this article.

I hope this helps.

All the best,

I tried flashingtab.zip which you uploaded on previous message, but it didn't work.
Could you please kindly take a look again?

Hello John,

The solution you have referred to concerns an obsolete component that is no longer a part of our suite. Please find attached to my reply a solution for RadPageView which demonstrates how you can simulate a flashing tab there.

I hope this helps.
