Hello Vinodh,
I am afraid that the provided description is not sufficient enough. Both SplitView demos have a header, did you tried to follow the approach used in them?
Could you please describe in more details what issues you encountered? Did you received any JavaScript errors? Code samples demonstrating your current implementation will be appreciated.
Looking forward to your reply.
Kind regards,

Hi Alexander,
Please refer the attachment.
I have indicated the area where I need the header and the footer.
The footer area is the one on which you can find the home button/icon.
Is there any provision in the framework which allows me to create these header/footer so that they are visible across all screens in my app ?

Hi Vinodh K,
Thank you for the screen shot.
I am afraid that what you would like to achieve is not supported at present. Currently the SplitView do not provide an opportunity for defining one common header/footer for both Panes of the SplitView. Layout should be defined per Pane.
If you would like to see this feature is one of our future releases you may vote for this idea at our UserVoice forum. If more people vote for it and it gains popularity we will consider adding it to the suite.
