When a user enters a day of the week textually (IE "Wednesday") if that day has not occurred the date picker throws and invalid date exception and crashes out.

For example, for the current week (today being  Monday, 10/06/2008) if a user entered "Sunday" or "Monday" the control correctly selects the date.  However  if the user were to enter "Wednesday" the error is thrown.

Is this a bug or intentional?   My guess would be a bug.

Thanks,
  Chris

Hello Christopher,

I just tried that but unfortunately could not reproduce the problem. I've used the same version as yours I suppose - RadControls for WPF Q2 2008. Can you please confirm that?

Do you get the error in a clean WPF window xaml with the DatePicker only? Or if the problematic scenario is more complicated, can you please elaborate more on that or paste the xaml which we can try locally? Thank you.

Greetings Konstantin,
Thanks for the reply.   I tested this further in an attempt to get more information for you.  However I am unable to reproduce the error now either.

I had first noticed the issue when placing the control on a winform (using the control host) and later on a WPF window with the control freshly added.

I can't reproduce the error in either condition any longer.  Chalk it up to user error I guess.

Thanks again for the response.
