Hello, i purchased Telerik Reporting Q3 2008 SP1 software. When i try to install on a server windows 2003 it fails cause is trying to find a missing file, i think
<add assembly="Telerik.Reporting.VsPackage, Version=1.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicLeyToken=a9d7983dfcc261be"/>

So i have already the other software version Q2 2007 and appears the missing file, so i copy this file to the new path and it works properly.
Is this correct that what am i doing? Why the new version have not this file but the older one has it? Should i have any problem with the licence?

Thanks.

Regards

Hello Ruth,

You are the first one to report such a problem. Before we start identifying what might have caused this, please note that you do not need to install the product directly to your production server. All that is needed are the Reporting assemblies that should be copied in the project from the local machine which you use for developing. More info on the deployment of Telerik Reporting is available in this KB article.
You should not have any reference to Telerik.Reporting.VsPackage assembly in your config file - please remove it and it should not prompt for it.

Greetings,
