Hi Telerik Team,

Firstly, thanks for the major upgrade, there are some cool stuff that will help us to improve our application performances.
I would like to know if there is a date scheduled about the integration of your last update about RadCombobox.SelectionItemTemplate bug into the official upgrade tool ?
We use RadControls for Silverlight and also Telerik Reporting and we would like to migrate our application to the last major upgrade (2010_1_0309) but we want to do this only with the upgrade tool. Unfortunately we have to do a manual update to avoid that bug.
I hope this bug will be included into the official release asap :)
Thanks

Regards

Edit : I would like to add one more thing : I've tried to update Telerik reporting and RadControls like you said in the sticky topic to remove the bug with reporting silverlight preview but I'm stuck I have the same problem and I can't see where I made a mistake because the minor version number hasn't changed between 2010_1 release and the update (last build) and I can't compare the files.
I hope you will make a new release that remove this bug before next release (this summer)...

Hi,

We intentionally made the SelectionBoxItemTemplate read-only in order to provide other new functionality. From now on you should use the SelectionBoxTemplate property instead. The Silverlight report viewer is fixed in the latest internal build, available here:
http://www.telerik.com/account/downloads/internal-builds.aspx

As per applying the update, you can use the Upgrade Wizard with the Latest Internal build. All you need is to:
  • unpack the Latest Internal build to a preferred folder
  • start the Upgrade Wizard
  • select not to check for updates
  • press Next
  • use the Browse button to navigate to the folder where you extracted the Latest Internal build

Best wishes,
Valeri Hristov

Hi Valeri,

Thanks for your answer, I've tested migration to Q1 2010 with your method and it works like a charm :)
