Thank you for the screencast, as it helped to understand the case. In general, Scheduler navigation is designed to persists the selection range only
if it can be displayed in the active view, otherwise the selection range will be updated to a single date slot. In other words, if the selection range (start <-> end) cannot be visualize in the new view, then it will be reset to the first day in the view.
This behavior is by designed and cannot be configured. I am afraid that I cannot provide any workarounds that would help to accomplish your goal.
