Hi there,

Is the recommended way of dealing with encoded HTML in grid cells being sent back to the controller still using [ValidateInput(false)] on the controller as per this forum post html encode in UI for ASP.NET MVC | Telerik Forums ?

Thank you,

Mike Kingscott

Hi Mike,

Thank you for writing to us.

Yes, that seems to be the case.

In addition, I can highly suggest these resources which tend to be very helpful in various cases:

1. MVC FAQ:
https://docs.telerik.com/aspnet-mvc/html-helpers/data-management/grid/faq#frequently-asked-questions

2. Kendo UI Templates (MVC is using them as a base):
https://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/framework/templates/overview
