Hi Casey,
In general, wrapping the text inside an input doesn't seem to be possible. Please check the following article extracted from StackOverflow for some more details on this limitation:

I understand that this may be disappointing, but I am afraid that the desired behavior cannot be achieved with the currently rendered DOM of the Conversational UI component. Instead, the input element should be replaced with a textarea in order to allow wrapping its value on multiple lines. Indeed, we are aware of this limitation and thus we are currently considering our options for providing a template for the ConversationalUI that will allow to use a textarea or any other custom content for the input. Please support the following feature request from our public FeedbackPortal on this topic by voting:
That will help us to track the customer demand for such functionality and we will eventually add the feature to our future development plans.
Please let me know in case I can provide any further information on this or any other Kendo UI for Angular related topic. Thank you.

Hello,
Will this feature will be included in R2 2020 ?
Thanks
Hi Casey,
That feature isn't scheduled to be released as a part of the upcoming R2 2020 release. If I have to provide a rough estimate I would say that it could be added to the R3 2020 or R1 2021 release. But still that isn't for sure. Basically, the more votes the feature receives the more likely it is that it will be added to our road map for future development.
After the R2 release we will hold an internal team meeting and will decided what features will be added for development. Please let me know in case you would like me to provide you an update whether the specific feature is included for development within the R3 release or not. Thank you.

Svetlin
