Hi guys,

I wanted to ask if it is possible to have paging on web viewer of report containing only one simple crosstab element.

When the page and the report are rendered, even when it has 300 rows, it is displayed in one page. But if I export to PDF, or print the report, it appears on 20+ pages. I want the basic HTML display to be paged as well, because the page has rendering problems with such large report.

Thanks,

Dave

Hello David,

As explained in the Design Considerations for HTML Rendering help article, due to the fact that HTML is not a page oriented format, report sections cannot be split and therefore KeepTogether property is ignored (always set to true) in HTML Rendering. That is the reason for the crosstab to be displayed as a single page in the web report viewer. However PDF is a page oriented format and it is expected that the items would be split there on several pages according to the layout.
We've already elaborated on this in your other thread "Split section in HTML".

Sincerely yours,
