Dear Sir/Madam,

I am trying to hide Row Header in CSV Output, where I have designed the data in Table/Cross tab format, it seems even I have made them invisible, the Row Header still appear in CSV output, it works fine with Excel and PDF.

Is there a way to exclude the Row Header from CSV file?

Kind Regards

Hugo

Hello Hugo,

The CSV rendering output reports as a flattened representation of a report data in a plain-text format. Importantly, Formatting and layout are ignored. For those reasons, even if you hide the row headers (e.g. with Bindings or Conditional Formatting), they will still be present in the CSV exported document. For more information, you can visit Design Considerations for CSV Rendering. This behavior is by design and cannot be avoided.
The first record in the CSV rendering will contain headers for all the columns in the report (the items' name, not value). You may exclude it by setting 'NoHeader' to True - check CSV Device Information Settings articles.

Hi Aleksandra,

If I understood correctly, you would like to hide the group header sections when you export to CSV. If so, you can set the ConditionalFormatting property of the headers as follows:

An error has occurred while processing GroupSection 'groupHeaderSection': The expression contains object 'RenderingFormat' that is not defined in the current context.

IT SHOWS ME THIS.

Hi Aleksandra,

Can you please send me the problematic report, so I can inspect it on my end?
