How to give a label from another function

Hi, I have a question for kendo textbox widget label. I would like to use label like value methods. However; labels are given only configuration. Are there any method that is working like value methods.

 

var textbox = $("#textbox").data("kendoTextBox");

textbox.value("VALUE"); // this is a example I want.

We don't have an API method that sets the label of the TextBox, but you can use jQuery to set its text: https://dojo.telerik.com/AmEQUWAl
