Hi all,

I try to export my report to PDF (with report viewer control) and the crosstab table is wrapping to the next page of the report. I would like to keep the content of the table as shown when I generated, so maybe exporting in a landscape layout can solve my query. I appreciate any comment on my issue. Thanks.

Hello Darren,

About your case when generating a report in Web Report Viewer the HTML rendering is logical view and is not limited by width. This means that it would not respect the page settings and would stretch as much as needed to fit the data. But when a report is generated in a page oriented format like PDF, if the report is too wide, a vertical carryover would occur. So the solution for your issue is to take into consideration the PageSettings of your report and do not place data outside of the page boundaries or if (as in your case) the CrossTab grows at runtime, make sure you set such a PageSize that would always accommodate it.
