I have a few datetime parameters on my report for which I have to be able to enter time values also. But it won't let me enter time values also if the default is specified as Now() it shows only the date part and not the time part. Even when running the report if I enter the time after the date when I leave the parameter box the time part gets erased.

We are using Telerik reporting in a silverlight project.

Thanks for your help in advance,

Hello Ashoo Sharda,

The DateTime Report Parameter UI by default only allows Date picking. Because the Silverlight Report Viewer is actually a template that allows easy modifications our suggestion would be to modify it. That way you can customize the Silverlight Report Viewer template to respond to any custom requirements you have. Another approach would be to create a custom UI for the Parameters instead of using the default one. Just set the Report Parameters Visibility to False and add Silverlight Controls that will feed the Report Parameters. For additional information about setting the Report Parameters values from Silverlight, please check out the Programmatic Initialization of Report Parameter Values in Telerik Reporting Silverlight Viewer KB article.

Best wishes,
