Hi,

I created a Graph (via Graph Wizard) with Category X Axis.  The Axis labels overlap when the graph has many data points. How can I set an interval for the labels, and is there an auto-format for this?

I find how to do it with Charts but the documentation says Charts is obsolete and no mention on how to do it in Graph.

Thanks!

Hello Shane,

This is a quote from your support ticket on the same question:
"Using CategoryScale axis labels are recognized as strings and can be manipulated through the CategoryGroups - Misc - Label, where you can set an expression to display each third label.

You can switch the axis to use a DatetimeScale by setting the series X property, and switching the axis Scale to DatetimeScale. then you can define the MajorStep, MajotUnit, which determining the labels on the axis. For more details take a look at the Axis and How to: Change the Axis Scale help articles.

Both suggestions are illustrated in the attached sample XML report definition."
