Thank you for your question.
To make RadPanorama transparent, you need to set its BackColor to Transparent and the DrawFill property of its RadPanoramaElement to false. Please refer to the attachment to see how you can set this at design time.

Hi Ivan,
This solution does not seem to work with 2015 Q1 WinForms UI RadPanorama and RadTileElement.
Please advise.

I actually resolved this.
Here's what I did: on top of what Ivan suggested in his post above, I opened "RadPanorama Tasks" context menu, clicked on "Edit UI Elements" link. Then, in Control Element Structure I selected the "ImagePrimitive" item, then in its properties on the right side set the Visibility property to Hidden (See the attached screenshot).
This makes the panorama background truly transparent.
Hope it helps somebody.
