DropDownLists and trees have a .Animation(false) option to disable the flyout animations, but there doesn't seem to be a similar option for buttons.

What is the best way that i can disable this animation?

Hi Sebastian,

Thank you for clarifying. In Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC, the popup settings for DropDownButton and SplitButton do not currently expose an Animation(false) fluent option.

As a workaround, disable the popup animation on the client side after the widget has initialized:

<script>
    $(function () {
        $("#dropDownButton").data("kendoDropDownButton").setOptions({
            popup: { animation: false }
        });
    });
</script>

For a SplitButton, use kendoSplitButton instead of kendoDropDownButton.

Please submit a feature request through the Telerik UI for ASP.NET MVC Feedback Portal. We will award you Telerik points for your request.
