I am using a different menu system, and having both my menus and the ReportViewer toolbar is confusing the end-users.

Is it possible to hide the ReportViewer toolbar completely?

If not, is it possible to at least hide the "cancel" button specifically? All the other buttons can be hidden.

Hi shovavnik,

The current implementation of the report viewer does not allow the toolbar to be hidden or replaced. The Cancel button is also not allowed to be hidden and even if that was possible the toolbar would however still stay visible.

In the future we will consider adding this functionality.

It seems like a very minor change to enable hiding the whole toolbar, and it will make a significant impact for my customers. I also personally think it's pretty basic.

Is there any chance you can release at least this change for the next public release?

Hello shovavnik,

Definitely this is not a hard task to implement. However we already have quite a large list of things to be done, but we will do our best to move this feature with higher priority and implement it for a subsequent release. Please check out our Product Roadmap for the most recent information on what would be added in the next version.

Thank you for the understanding on the matter.

Best wishes,

Well, the product roadmap hasn't been updated, but I'll be sure to look at it when it does.

Thanks for prioritizing this.

Hi Igor,

You can hide the Report Viewer's toolbar. Just set the Report Viewer ToolbarVisible property to False.

Sincerely yours,
Peter

Is it true for Silverlight ReportViewer? I need to render only report without toolbar, zooming and so on. Is it possible?

Hi Igor,

The Silverlight Report Viewer is actually a template that can be easily modified with Blend. Because it lack such property, our suggestion would be to modify the Silverlight Report Viewer template. That way you can customize the Silverlight Report Viewer template to respond to any custom requirements you have.

Telerik (Peter),

Can you provide some more information on how one would go about modifying the template? All I have is a Telerik.ReportViewer.Silverlight.dll, how do I modify it???
