I had the Telerik UI and I do a winforms app but days after, I downloaded the Xamarin iOS And Android extension, so I need to download the installer and apply the Xamarin extensions to my Visual Studio.

But then... I go back to my old WinForms app and I can´t add a new RadForms Window but the items in tyhe telerik UI toolbox still there!

Also in the top bar before it was a section called Telerik near by File, Debug, etc and now it isnt there

Finally I think that I need to install it again, but when I opened the installer, it say that I have already Telerik UI For WindowsForms

So I Don´t know what to do. Maybe shoul I unistall it and install it again?

But I dont know how to do that.

Help please

Hello Sebastián,

Thank you for contacting us.

As far as I understand the Telerik menu is missing from Visual Studio. If that is the case I suggest to re-install it. For this purpose you can either repair Telerik UI for WinForms (using the MSI installer or Progress Control Panel) or install just Telerik WinForms VSExtensions (which deploys the Telerik menu and the project / item templates). Here is how to install the Telerik WinForms VSExtensions:

  1. Launch Visual Studio.
  2. Launch Extensions and Updates (Tools | Extensions and Updates...).
  3. Make sure Telerik WinForms VSExtensions is not installed. If that is the case uninstall it and restart Visual Studio.
  4. Navigate to Online and search for "telerik winforms vsextensions".
  5. Download Telerik WinForms VSExtensions and restart Visual Studio.

Note: In Visual Studio 2017 the installation process of the extensions takes part after you restart Visual Studio. In this case you have to be patient and wait until the VSIXInstaller pops up after Visual Studio 2017 is restarted.

I hope this helps.
