Im a Telerik rookie, so I'm not really sure where to go with this.   I have a report that consists of a 'Main' report and one subreport for the detail lines.

Mostly, the report works fine, but when there are enough lines in the detail section of the report to cause it to break over to another page, the following happens:

A - In the HTML Report viewer, I get a Header and footer on page 1, and everything on p. 2 (header, footer, and detail).
B - If I export to .pdf, i see the report rendered as expected, with the detail section beginning on p.1, breaking somewhere in the middle, and continuing on p.2. until complete.

Again, this is only an issue when there are enough "detail" lines to make the report span multiple pages.  When the report will fit on a single page, it works fine.

I have set the 'KeepTogether' property of the detail subreport to false.  any other suggestions?    Note - I've checked (as recommended by other posts here) to insure that sections and/or subreports don't go outside the printable area and cause an overflow situation.

Thanks!

Hi Rusty,

Without the report definition it is hard to say what setting is missing. Please check if you have set the master report's Detail section KeepTogether property to false and test again the suggested in Problem: Telerik Reporting renders blank pages KB article.

If you need further help, please post the code generating your report definition or open a support ticket and send it their.

Have you tried the new visualization options in Telerik Reporting Q1 2013? You can get them from your account.
