Hamburger Menu when screen size is small

Is there a way to get the responsive behavior for the menu to change to a hamburger menu when the screen size is small? I saw this older post and was wonder if anything has changed.

Hello Henry,

With regard to the Menu there hasn't been any changes in that direction and it still has no capabilities of changing to a hamburger menu when viewed on small screen sizes.

We would suggest you to consider using the ToolBar since it has this functionality built-in. The MenuButtons are one of the types of items the ToolBar supports and they have the look and feel of the Menu (see the Insert buttons in our ToolBar demo).

One thing I should add: there are subtle differences between the menu and toolbar, namely the toolbar can have as many nested children as menu can.

While we do not offer the built in hamburger menu functionality for Kendo UI, like we do for UI for ASP.NET Ajax, we do have something that could suit your needs -- responsive panel.
