My App uses interactive grouping. What used to work with 2008.3 now throws exceptions. I could not find any docs to this new behaviour. In particular I'm adding aggregate functions dynamically when the user changes grouping configuration

So there are no intentional changes to the grouping API?

Hi Erwin,

The grouping API was expanded to include VirtualMode, but this must not change the normal behavior in bound/unbound modes. If you continue to encounter difficulties, please send us a sample project or at least the steps to reproduce this exceptions.

Sincerely yours,

I have filed a bug report about the issue that I could reproduce. There are some spurious problems with my test application, that I'm not able to systematically reproduce yet. Possibly in combination with Save/Load Layout.

Erwin

Hi Erwin,

Thanks again for reporting the issue. We are still trying to reproduce it, but unfortunately unsuccessfully. It would be great if you can give us some steps or sample code/project.

Best wishes,
