Hi Vlad,
No, not a combobox but like a button(beside a column) on a gridview row where if I click on that button it open up a pop up window where I can do a search of individuals/users etc... and after the user selected a person and click OK, the selected persons last and first name would then show up on the that column... but also keep the persons primary key, which we keep in our table.
I was searching for example, but I could not any for now.

We don't have such example however you can use CellTemplate to define your own UI with desired logic.

chiming in here, cause I was looking this up to.
It used to be called a GridViewLookUpColumn, it's now the GridViewComboBoxColumn
