We had to make some breaking changes while refactoring the editing logic for cells. I hope the final result is for good, as we have a bit more intuitive and stable API for editing. This is why the event is no more working for you.
Can you please give us some more details on your specific scenario? We will be shipping a service pack in a few weeks. We can try to analyze your needs together and come up with some solution e.g. bringing the event back to life, or replacing it with some API.
