I am new to Telerik reporting and am trying to include a simple graph from data that has two columns (X, Y), for instance

1 345

2 10

...

12 3273

The Graph wizard seems to assume a more complicated data structure and requires a category.

For the simple X Y graph I need there are no grouping or categories.

How do I graph this simple data.

The graph produced by the wizard also has "ALL" under the X axis for which I can not find the property displaying this text.

You can take a look at the below video:

Thanks but I am using Telerik Reporting Q3 2013.

In this version the Chart class is marked as obsolete in the Telerik documentation so I am trying to use the Graph class.

I have watched the video, which is for Charts not Graphs, but it does not address my questions re grouping/categories or the "ALL" label on the X  axis

Hi Graham,

Check out the attached sample. All you need to run it is to provide valid connection string. The coordinate system is cartesian(cartesianCoordinateSystem1) and both axis are Numerical. Also there is only one series(areaSeries1) and both X and Y are set(X=(Fields.Col1), Y=(Fields.Col2))

To create the same Graph using the Graph Wizard you should choose Area(or Line) Chart Type. In the Arrange graph fields you should add "Col1" to Categories and "Col2" to Values and press finish. As you'll see the XAxis Scale is Category Scale. You should change it to Numerical Scale. Open the only one series and set X to X=(Fields.Col1).
