When I run IE 9 in compatibility mode, the gradient styles are lost. I guess this is a problem with ie8+ compatibility mode or ie7.
Is there a workaround so the gradients are shown?
Thanks
Michael

Hello Michael,
Kendo UI uses progressive enhancement and CSS3 for some of its styling. This reduces HTTP requests, makes the styling more flexible and is good for the performance.
If you require gradients in IE7 and IE8, you can apply a custom gradient background image to the k-header CSS class. This will apply the gradient to all elements that use this class, for example Grid headers, Menu, Window titlebar, etc.
All the best,
