I am afraid such function is not available in Kendo UI. If you wish you may create an entry with this suggestion in our UserVoice portal - the community interest in the idea will influence on our decision towards implementing it.

This hasn't been updated in awhile, but I'm using Kendo UI version 2015.2.902. I know which version I'm using when I enter kendo.version into my JavaScript console.
