When generating PDF I get a whitespace/gap between the two mentioned sectioned, which I don't know the source of.
There is no grouping applied in the report. I am using a trial version of Telerik Reporting version 6.1.12.820.

Did anyone come across this problem?

Design behavior. All report sections are one after the other, page footer is related to the media (page), not to the data, so it is rendered at the bottom of the page. Check out Understanding Report Sections.

Cheers!

Not sure I explained correctly, I am not trying to suppress either the pagefooter nor the reportfooter, as I have fields in them.
I took a screenshot, where I gave background color yellow to reportFooter and orange to pageFooter, but the gap between is still white, so I assume it comes from somewhere else.
Please see the image in the attachments.

Hi Roland,

You have explained correctly, I guess you did not understand the explanation that Chris provided. Telerik Reporting is data driven engine and would only create as many details as the number of records. In other words, report sections all follow each other and do not stretch to the bottom of the page i.e. the report footer section would be right after the report section before it (be it detail or group footer). It does not go all the way down to the page footer section, unless there are enough records to fill the page and push it down.

Hope this clears any further confusion.
